I visited a friend in Dubai in March ’09 and I simply cannot wait to go back.Everything about Dubai was wonderful.
As soon as I got out of the airport, I was mesmerised by the vast skyline of skyscrapers – the most obvious one being the Burj. (the tallest building in the world measuring at 818m)
There is so much to do and see in Dubai and while there, I did as much as possible! This ranged from visiting the Mall of Emirates and going ski-ing (indoors!), to going on a desert safari the next day which was definitely the highlight of my trip as we went “dune bashing” and watched the sun set before settling deep in the desert for a while.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t exactly afford to stay in the Burj Al Arab - the only 7* hotel in the world but I did view this beautiful hotel from a nearby beach and it was like everything else in Dubai, magnificent and breath taking. |
